So the weirdest thing happened to me last night…and I’m talking weird, weird. Someone rang my doorbell and left me this:
The fumbling, the fidgeting, the quick removal of clothes—there is nothing romantic about a one night stand. There are no gentle caresses, there is no cuddling, and there certainly isn’t a morning after. It’s a simple get in and get out transaction—pun intended! Unless, of course, mother nature is out to get you and the snow forces you to do the walk of shame right back to the scene of the crime…aka Mr. Thought-He-Was-Amazing-But-Was-Mediocre-At-Best. I’m sorry, guys, I really thought I was going to be on the ball this year, but blips happen and sometimes the hamster in this wheel goes on strike—seriously it can become really hard to motivate a hamster that would really rather hibernate for the winter. But alas, I ring in the new year (albeit almost four weeks later) with none other than a WTF moment that just so happened to rejuvenate this hibernating hamster…yeah, I don’t know why I’m still referring to my brain as a hamster either.
